Software Engineer III – NodeJS, Python, Go

About the role

AiPrise is seeking a Software Engineer III to help build and scale its AI‑powered compliance platform. You will work on backend APIs, microservices, data pipelines, integrations, and customer‑facing tools for fintech, marketplace and payment clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production features across backend APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and case management tools.
• Own features end‑to‑end from requirements through implementation, deployment and monitoring.
• Build scalable REST APIs and microservices that integrate with compliance vendors.
• Develop KYB/AML case management workflows and business logic.
• Create data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and routing compliance data.
• Integrate third‑party identity and compliance APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, tested, and documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
• Debug production issues and improve reliability, performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability for production features.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Python, Go, Java, NodeJS or similar backend languages.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices or distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and modern deployment practices.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
