Software Engineer I – Consumer Product & Innovation

About the role

You will join Nike’s Global Technology organization to build internal tools that enable designers to create footwear and apparel. Working from Bengaluru, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to deliver scalable, cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate web and cloud‑native platforms for Nike’s design community.
• Build responsive, accessible front‑end experiences using modern frameworks.
• Integrate APIs and services following an API‑first approach.
• Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and own assigned development tasks.
• Support the full software lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, monitoring and operational excellence.
• Continuously improve performance, scalability, resilience and maintainability of applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of software development experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

• React or Vue.js
• AWS services: Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, S3
• Cloud architecture, DevOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD
• Testing frameworks: Mocha, Jasmine, Jest
