Software Engineer – AI-driven Healthcare Automation

About the role

Cohere Health is building AI‑driven solutions to streamline prior‑authorization in healthcare. As a Software Engineer you will join the Clinical Intelligence team to develop cloud‑based platforms and web applications that automate and improve care journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the functional and technical roadmap, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver deterministic rules‑based and AI‑driven automation.
• Design, develop, test, and release features for the cloud platform and front‑end applications.
• Support the full stack from database layers to the user interface, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Drive engineering releases 2‑4 times per month and provide production support as needed.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and services to improve development efficiency.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of full‑time software development experience, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven ability to own end‑to‑end product development, from design through production support.
• Experience working in fast‑paced startup environments and collaborating closely with product and design teams.
• Familiarity with version control, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
