Software Development Engineer III, Bangalore

About the role

Broccoli builds AI teammates for plumbing, HVAC and electrical contractors, helping them automate calls, bookings, follow-ups and missed revenue. It is looking for a Software Development Engineer III in Bangalore to help build the AI intelligence layer behind front-office operations, including systems that book jobs, dispatch technicians and drive revenue. This is a product engineering role: you will shape how the product works in the real world, talk to customers and ship quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Build end-to-end features across backend and frontend that directly impact customer revenue
• Work closely with design, product and GTM teams to ship features from idea to production
• Turn real-world workflows such as calls, scheduling and dispatch into scalable systems
• Improve system reliability, performance and developer velocity as the company scales
• Learn fast by working directly with customers and iterating based on real usage

Required profile

• 4-8 years of experience building and shipping products
• Strong fundamentals across backend and frontend systems
• High ownership: you figure things out yourself rather than waiting for specs
• Curiosity about how real businesses operate, not just how software works
• Ability to move fast without breaking what matters
