About the role
Bosch Global Software Technologies is looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and development of airbag control software. You will work within a cross‑functional team to ensure safety, reliability and compliance with automotive standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform requirements engineering, develop and review High‑Level and Low‑Level Designs.
- Review system and software test specifications and ensure compliance with dependability requirements.
- Communicate architecture decisions to stakeholders and moderate Change Control Board meetings.
- Mentor software leads, engineers and test teams, and support project estimation and risk assessment.
- Define, implement and verify safety‑related software requirements and support architecture reviews for reliability and robustness.
Required profile
- 10‑15 years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
- Strong communication, leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Required skills
- Embedded systems development with C language.
- Real‑Time Operating System (RTOS) exposure.
- Requirements engineering and Agile methodology experience.
- Model‑Based Software Development.
- Problem and Change Request Management, including DRBFM.
