About the role
The Chess Hub is a fast‑growing global chess education and media brand. We are looking for a creative, organized Social Media & Community Manager to shape our digital presence, engage our worldwide community, and support our tournaments, podcasts, and merchandise initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a monthly social media content strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and X.
- Plan, schedule and publish engaging posts, reels, stories and videos consistently.
- Write compelling captions and copy that reflect our brand voice.
- Coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, photographers and other content creators.
- Cover tournaments, academy events, meet‑ups, podcasts and special projects through social media.
- Build and nurture the online community by responding to comments, messages and inquiries.
- Create content around student achievements, coach highlights, testimonials, educational tips and behind‑the‑scenes moments.
- Monitor trends, track performance with analytics and prepare monthly growth reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, partnerships, merchandise launches and influencer collaborations.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of chess terminology, major tournaments and top players.
- 2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and community building.

- Meta Business Suite or similar scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer)
- Canva and basic photo/video editing tools
