SMA Administrator – Investment Operations

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Administrator 2 to support its Custom Fixed Income and Custom Equity Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) in Hyderabad. The role focuses on daily reconciliation of cash, positions and corporate actions across a wide range of investment products, ensuring accurate data for trading and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform client‑level cash and position reconciliations between Invesco portfolio systems and custodian accounts.
• Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies by collaborating with traders, portfolio managers, custodians and vendors.
• Monitor and report cash and position breaks for equities and fixed income on a daily basis.
• Research and correct corporate action mismatches such as partial calls, conditional calls and matured securities.
• Maintain and update reconciliation procedures and ensure timely handling of items in the global mailbox.
• Identify operational risks, propose mitigation strategies and support implementation.
• Provide guidance to team members, prioritize workload and ensure end‑of‑day reporting is completed.
• Participate in business continuity testing and overtime support for US‑based operations.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in investment operations or middle‑office environments.
• Strong knowledge of global investment products, especially SMA processes and trade lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and occasional overtime to support US markets.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Hands‑on experience with cash and position reconciliation for equities and fixed income.
• Understanding of cost‑basis calculations for equity products.
