Site Supervisor (Hybrid – Chennai)

About the role

Brownspell is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day site operations for interior fit‑out and furniture installation projects in Chennai. The role is full‑time and hybrid, combining on‑site presence with occasional remote work as project needs allow.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate installation and fit‑out activities, ensuring work follows design plans, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Manage on‑site teams of craftsmen, vendors and subcontractors, tracking daily progress and resource usage.
• Monitor project timelines, material inventories and resource allocation, providing regular updates to project managers and clients.
• Conduct site inspections, identify and resolve issues, and verify that finished interiors and furniture meet client expectations and Brownspell specifications.
• Liaise with designers, engineers and clients to align on technical details and schedule adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction, interior fit‑out or furniture installation sites.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of basic project scheduling, material tracking and quality‑control practices.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with designers, craftsmen, vendors and clients.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and compliance with local regulations.
• Relevant diploma or degree in civil engineering, interior design, construction management or a related field (preferred).
• Capacity to work independently, manage multiple sites and adapt to fast‑paced project changes.
