Site Manager – Kayad Mines

About the role

Epiroc is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead operations at Kayad Mines. The role focuses on delivering first‑class service, ensuring contract compliance, and driving safety, performance and asset optimization on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the EPIROC India contract and ensure delivery of high‑quality service.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to achieve effective contract execution.
• Enforce EPIROC policies and maintain high ethical standards across the team.
• Promote a strong safety, health and environmental culture.
• Develop and mentor staff, overseeing the full hire‑to‑retire lifecycle.
• Educate the workforce on contract obligations and monitor compliance.
• Review contract performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation actions.
• Drive asset optimization by eliminating wasteful practices and improving efficiency.
• Ensure preventive maintenance compliance, manage backlog execution, and oversee oil‑analysis and CERTIQ reporting.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics such as availability, MTTR, MTBF and meters drilled.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to safety, health and environmental standards.
• Proven leadership experience in mining or heavy‑industry site management.
• Excellent understanding of contract management and customer‑focused service delivery.
• Ability to identify and manage risks, drive continuous improvement and optimize assets.
• High ethical standards and ability to enforce corporate policies.
