Site Manager – HVDC Converter Station

About the role

The Site Manager is responsible for delivering all activities on the HVDC converter station construction site on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while ensuring a safe, incident‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main interface to the Customer and maintain relationships with local authorities.
• Manage manpower, site activities and contractual milestones to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Oversee change management, variation orders and ensure all tests are performed and accepted.
• Guarantee compliance with Health, Safety and Environment requirements and maintain all necessary permits and licences.
• Maintain accurate documentation, quality records and ensure activities follow the contractual schedule and budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
• 5+ years experience as a Site Manager on medium to large energy‑sector construction projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience.
• Excellent people‑management and communication skills, with willingness to travel in India (and abroad).
