Site Controller – Financial Management

About the role

The Site Controller will support BASF’s site management in Thane and Vikhroli by providing accurate financial reporting, cost analysis, and strategic guidance. This role ensures that financial practices align with corporate strategy while complying with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements and business reports for senior management.
• Monitor compliance with accounting principles, standards, and internal policies.
• Maintain and act as gate‑keeper for BASF applications such as COINS, I‑Comp, MARIS, Ocean, CARAT, and SCII.
• Support CAPEX and OpEx planning, including small‑investment budgeting and regional/global project coordination.
• Develop cost‑ing and product costing reports, and provide sales performance overviews.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to guide economic decision‑making.
• Experience in financial reporting, cost control, and budgeting within an industrial environment.
• Willingness to travel between Thane and Vikhroli as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BASF financial applications: COINS, I‑Comp, MARIS, Ocean, CARAT, SCII.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and financial compliance.
