Single Carrier Specialist - Landside Operations

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Single Carrier Specialist to manage end‑to‑end landside shipment execution. You will coordinate booking, planning, delivery and order closure while ensuring compliance and profitability across a global logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Execute landside shipments from booking to order closure using SAP Transportation Management System (SAP TMS).
• Plan and optimise transport, allocate vendors, schedule shipments and handle amendments or cancellations.
• Monitor execution, proactively manage exceptions and resolve issues across stakeholders.
• Coordinate with transport vendors to ensure service delivery, compliance and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate system updates, validate costs and support timely billing.
• Collaborate with external parties (vendors, terminals, customers) and internal functions (finance, procurement, customer experience).
• Engage with regional front‑office teams and contribute ideas for operational improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in logistics or shipping.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and a five‑day in‑office schedule.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
