Single Carrier Specialist - Landside Operations

About the role

The Single Carrier Specialist will manage end‑to‑end landside shipment execution, from booking and planning through delivery and order closure, using SAP Transportation Management System (SAP TMS). The role works closely with transport vendors, internal finance, procurement and customer experience teams to ensure reliable, on‑time service and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage landside shipment execution, including booking, planning, vendor allocation, scheduling, and handling amendments or cancellations.
• Monitor execution, proactively manage exceptions, and ensure timely resolution across stakeholders.
• Coordinate with transport vendors to guarantee service delivery, compliance and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate system updates, validate costs and ensure timely order closure for billing and profitability.
• Collaborate with external parties (vendors, terminals, customers) and internal functions (finance, procurement, customer experience).
• Build strong engagement with regional front‑office teams and contribute ideas for operational improvement.
• Deliver reliable, on‑time shipment execution in line with agreed service levels.
• Drive cost discipline, highlight deviations and ensure vendor compliance with operational standards.

Required profile

• Willingness to work rotational shifts and adhere to a five‑day in‑office schedule.
• Minimum three years of logistics or shipping experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
