Single Carrier Specialist

About the role

The Single Carrier Specialist is responsible for end‑to‑end landside shipment execution, ensuring shipments are booked, planned, delivered and closed accurately. The role works closely with transport vendors, internal finance and procurement teams, and regional front‑office colleagues to maintain high service levels and cost discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end landside shipment execution using SAP Transportation Management System (SAP TMS).
• Plan and optimise transport, including vendor allocation, scheduling and handling amendments or cancellations.
• Monitor execution, proactively manage exceptions and ensure timely resolution across stakeholders.
• Coordinate with transport vendors to ensure service delivery, compliance and performance adherence.
• Maintain accurate system updates, validate costs and close orders to support billing and profitability.
• Engage with external parties (vendors, terminals, customers) and internal functions (finance, procurement, customer experience) to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in logistics or shipping.
• Flexibility to work across shifts, including night shifts, with a five‑day in‑office expectation.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and join immediately.
