Single Carrier Senior Specialist - Landside Operations

About the role

The Single Carrier Senior Specialist will own end‑to‑end landside shipment execution, from planning and booking through delivery and order closure, using SAP Transportation Management System. The role ensures reliable service delivery, cost validation and operational excellence across the landside network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage landside shipment execution, including planning, booking, delivery and order closure using SAP TMS.
• Drive transport planning, optimisation and proactive exception management.
• Coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain operational excellence.
• Validate data accuracy, cost and timely order closure to support billing and profitability.
• Track performance, report KPIs and translate data into actionable cost and profitability recommendations.
• Lead process improvements, standardisation and support cross‑functional transformation projects.
• Support offshoring initiatives, product training and onboarding of new team members.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of logistics or shipping experience.
• Willingness to work rotational night shifts and a five‑day in‑office schedule.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Graduate or post‑graduate qualification.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP Transportation Management System dispatch workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
