Single Carrier Senior Specialist - Landside Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist to lead end‑to‑end landside shipment execution, ensuring reliable service delivery and operational excellence across our network. You will work closely with internal teams, customers and partners while driving data‑based insights and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full landside shipment lifecycle from planning and booking to delivery and order closure using SAP TMS.
• Drive transport planning, optimisation and proactive exception handling.
• Coordinate vendors and stakeholders to maintain operational excellence.
• Ensure data accuracy, cost validation and timely order closure for billing and profitability.
• Track performance, report KPIs and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Lead process standardisation and efficiency initiatives.
• Support cross‑functional projects, transformation programs and offshoring initiatives.
• Engage with regional front‑office teams and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Willingness to work rotational and night shifts with a five‑day in‑office expectation.
• Minimum three years of experience in logistics or shipping.
• Graduate or post‑graduate qualification.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of SAP Transportation Management System dispatch workflows.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities (RCA, trend analysis, KPI interpretation).
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
