Short Form Video Producer

About the role

Alpha Drop Ventures is building a cultural‑commerce platform and needs a hands‑on Short Form Video Producer to own the entire moving‑image pipeline. You will create cinematic, mobile‑first videos that define the brand’s visual language from the very first drop.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot high‑quality short‑form footage for product drops, creator collaborations, behind‑the‑scenes content, and events.
• Edit raw footage into retention‑first videos with strong hooks, sharp pacing, and platform‑native structures for Reels and Shorts.
• Translate briefs into detailed shot lists and coverage plans to capture the right angles and hooks.
• Own lighting setups for indoor and outdoor shoots, ensuring consistent tone and true‑to‑life product colour.
• Build hook‑first openers, test multiple patterns, and select the strongest based on watch behaviour.
• Add platform‑native finishing layers such as captions, kinetic text, sound design, and music selection.
• Develop repeatable workflows, file‑naming conventions, backups, caption presets, and edit templates to keep the pipeline fast and high‑quality.
• Monitor platform trends and adapt them into original brand‑aligned content.

Required profile

• Self‑driven creator comfortable owning both shooting and editing without hand‑offs.
• Thrives in a fast‑moving startup environment and can handle direct, unfiltered feedback.
• Excited to help define a visual language before a playbook exists.
• Comfortable working without a fixed manager check‑in schedule.

Required skills

• Professional video shooting and camera operation.
• Advanced video editing for short‑form, mobile‑first content.
• Lighting design for indoor and outdoor environments.
• Captioning and kinetic text creation.
• Sound design and music selection for social media videos.
