ServiceNow Developer - ITAM (HAM/SAM)

About the role

NetApp is looking for a ServiceNow developer focused on ITAM (Hardware Asset Management / Software Asset Management) in Bangalore. The role requires at least 2 years of ServiceNow development experience in the ITAM (HAM/SAM) and ITSM modules, and a ServiceNow System Administration certification is mandatory; an Implementation Specialist background is a plus.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of ServiceNow development experience in ITAM (HAM/SAM) and ITSM modules.
• Completed bachelor's and master's degrees.
• Good behavioural and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies quickly and the ability to advise on technical decisions with pros, cons and risks.
• Team player and team builder with proven experience in designing, developing scalable and distributed systems.

Required skills

• ITAM (HAM): hardware asset lifecycle management, CMDB CI data modelling, asset discovery and reconciliation, hardware inventory audits, asset depreciation.
• ITAM (SAM): license entitlement and compliance, license reconciliation, software normalization, publisher catalog management, reclamation rules, end-of-life/end-of-support tracking.
• JavaScript and Glide scripting, Service Portal, and at least one JavaScript framework such as AngularJS or React.
• SOA technologies (REST, SOAP) and HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and AJAX.
• Incident, problem, change, knowledge and request management, integrations, client scripts, UI policies, UI scripts, script includes, business rules and scheduled jobs.
