SAP CRM Technical Lead

About the role

NetApp is looking for an SAP CRM Technical Lead (8+ years of experience) in Bangalore who combines strong hands-on development expertise with a production operations mindset. The role leads the architecture, design, development and optimisation of SAP CRM solutions while also supporting and operating critical production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development and optimisation of SAP CRM solutions using ABAP and ABAP on HANA
• Own end-to-end delivery of development initiatives, from requirements and technical design through coding, testing and deployment
• Own large, cross-functional initiatives covering SAP CRM, enterprise integrations, data models and downstream platforms
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation plans
• Support and operate business-critical SAP CRM production systems, manage incidents, maintain SLAs and drive customer satisfaction
• Recommend improvements in development standards, operational practices and system architecture
• Provide technical leadership for complex integrations involving SAP PO/PI, RFC/BAPI, IDoc, OData, REST/SOAP services and enterprise platforms
• Contribute to AI/ML enablement in SAP CRM, including LLM integrations, MCP server development and AIOps
• Partner with business analysts, architects, product owners and other engineering teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Masters degree with 8+ years of relevant SAP CRM experience
• Proven experience supporting production SAP CRM systems with a focus on SLA adherence and customer satisfaction
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and delivering permanent fixes
• Collaborative, proactive subject-matter expert who tackles complex problems independently

Required skills

• 8+ years of hands-on ABAP and ABAP on HANA development
• Deep functional knowledge of SAP CRM (Case Management, RMA/Service Orders)
• ABAP on HANA: CDS views, AMDP, code push-down approach; HANA data modelling is a plus
• SAP PI/PO and SAP Gateway / OData service development
• Integration with enterprise platforms such as Identity Management, BI and analytics, using RFC/BAPI, IDoc and SOAP/REST web services
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs, building MCP servers and applying AIOps techniques
