Service Manager – North & East (Team Lead)

About the role

The Service Manager for the North & East region will lead a field service team delivering installation, maintenance and repair of Anton Paar’s laboratory and process measurement instruments across India. The role combines customer‑facing responsibilities with operational oversight to achieve service revenue targets and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support achievement of annual service contract revenue targets and drive process improvements.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of Field Service Engineers, allocating work, monitoring performance and conducting evaluations.
• Act as first point of contact for customer concerns, manage escalations and ensure service quality during visits and audits.
• Oversee service operations, maintain accurate CRM data, repair records and coordinate critical service requests.
• Provide technical escalation support, troubleshoot product issues and communicate trends to product teams.
• Make decisions on warranties, goodwill adjustments, discounts and service exceptions.
• Organise training, knowledge‑sharing sessions and continuous skill development for field staff.
