Server Administrator

About the role

iServeU, a modern banking infrastructure provider, is looking for a Server Administrator to join its technology team. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux and Windows servers that support a high‑volume fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers and related services.
• Monitor server performance, availability, and system health.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy objects.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, VMware, or Hyper‑V.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Perform regular backups, recovery testing, and storage utilization monitoring.
• Apply operating system patches and security updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS issues.
• Maintain server documentation and inventory records.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software support.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience installing and maintaining Linux and Windows servers.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Ability to perform backups, recovery tests, and monitor storage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and OS problems.
• Good documentation practices and vendor coordination experience.
• Understanding of security patching and compliance requirements.
