Senior Technician (Fitter) – Baddi

About the role

The Senior Technician (Fitter) is responsible for routine scheduled maintenance to ensure asset health and equipment uptime in line with Mars food safety and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, handling mechanical maintenance on a shift basis, and balancing day‑to‑day issues with planned activities.

Key responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and perform analysis using TPM tools.
• Maintain high‑speed wrapping machines (flow wrap & fold wrap).
• Execute preventive and predictive checks to improve asset health.
• Interact cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Safety, Quality and other stakeholders.
• Align work with Mars food safety, HACCP, GMP, GHP and FSSAI standards.
• Document shift activities and manage spare‑part identification and availability.
• Provide mechanical expertise, train operators on operational issues, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Support sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Required profile

• ITI in Fitter from a reputed institute.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably in maintenance or engineering.
• Ability to work across all factory areas and handle shift duties.
