About the role

The Senior Tax Associate will work on‑site in Jabalpur, leading tax preparation and compliance activities for both individual and business clients. This full‑time position requires up‑to‑date knowledge of tax legislation and a proactive approach to delivering accurate, client‑focused tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Review financial records and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Advise clients on tax‑saving opportunities and strategic planning.
• Maintain current knowledge of tax law changes and apply them to client situations.
• Support overall tax compliance processes and resolve tax‑related queries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve e‑filing efficiency and service quality.
• Interact directly with clients, providing clear explanations and high‑quality documentation.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements within the tax function.

Required profile

• Strong experience in tax preparation and compliance for diverse individual and business returns.
• Solid understanding of tax law and regulations, with the ability to interpret complex rules.
• Good grasp of finance, including analysis of financial statements and tax‑related planning.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and client‑service skills, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation and prior experience in a tax advisory or compliance role.
