Senior Staff Software Machine Learning Test Engineer

About the role

At d-Matrix, a leading AI compute engine company, the Senior Staff Software Machine Learning Test Engineer will help productize the software stack and ensure quality of AI hardware and software components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation for d-Matrix components and products, scaling the test framework for AI hardware qualification.
• Leverage GitLab CI/CD and the Pytest framework to perform component and end‑to‑end qualification.
• Design and execute large language model accuracy, benchmarking, and robustness tests using custom automation.
• Collaborate with global ML core kernel, compiler, runtime, hardware architecture teams, and model researchers during the qualification process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of large language models, machine‑learning fundamentals, Python programming, data structures, and Linux environment.
• Self‑motivated team player with prior experience in startups or small teams (desired).
