Partner AI Deployment Engineer - AWS

About the role

The AI Deployment Engineering team ensures safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications for developers and enterprises. As a Partner AI Deployment Engineer focused on AWS, you will operate at the center of a strategic partnership, driving joint customer success and enabling AWS and partner ecosystems to scale adoption of OpenAI‑powered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical counterpart to AWS field leadership, building trust and credibility across regions and teams.
• Shape joint account strategy and technical direction for high‑priority opportunities, defining engagement models and best practices.
• Lead technical strategy for large, ambiguous enterprise engagements, guiding customers from ideation through architecture design, prototyping, and production deployment.
• Design end‑to‑end AI architectures leveraging OpenAI and AWS services and build prototypes, POCs, and reference implementations.
• Enable AWS and partners through scalable technical motions such as workshops, playbooks, reference architectures, and reusable solution patterns.

Required profile

• 8+ years of technical consulting experience managing C‑level relationships with complex global organizations.
• Operates as a technical leader and systems thinker, balancing hands‑on building with strategic influence and scale.
• Builds trust quickly with engineers, architects, and executives and creates repeatable patterns rather than one‑off solutions.
• Comfortable owning ambiguous, high‑visibility problem spaces and motivated by driving customer and partner success at scale.
