Senior Staff Engineer – Rocket Growth (Backend)

About the role

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Backend within Rocket Growth, you will lead the technical direction of Supply Chain projects, shaping architecture and partnering closely with Product to define what we build.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the highest quality of architecture and design of the system.
• Draw roadmaps and vision for scalable and robust growth of the product.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to make the platform open and extensible.
• Align with stakeholders and lead engineers on mission‑critical projects.
• Decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions.
• Leverage knowledge of internal and industry best practices in design.
• Deep‑dive and handle critical system issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of software design and development experience in Java and Python.
• Proven track record designing and building large‑scale distributed systems in the Supply Chain domain.
• Experience with large system architecture, AWS cloud computing, and container‑based testing environments.
• Experience with Java/IntelliJ/Spring ecosystem.
