Senior Specialist Data Governance

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist in Data Governance to join our GDB/XD team within the Data & AI Office and Academy. Based in Hyderabad, you will help shape and enforce data governance practices across a complex, federated organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain data governance frameworks and policies.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, and corporate functions to ensure consistent data stewardship.
• Facilitate governance processes, data quality initiatives, and compliance activities.
• Support project and change initiatives related to data management.
• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on governance best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in business administration, science, IT or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in data governance, data stewardship or data management.
• Practical experience with governance topics in complex or federated organizations.
• Structured and pragmatic working style in complex environments.
• Initial experience in project or change initiatives is an advantage.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across business, IT and corporate functions.
• User‑ and value‑orientation, focusing on practical benefits.
