Senior Software Engineer – Partner Ecosystem

About the role

Databricks is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Partner Ecosystem team in Bengaluru. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance SQL drivers and connectors that enable seamless integration between Databricks SQL and a wide range of partner applications, driving data‑warehousing revenue and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve reliable, high‑throughput SQL connectors for partners and enterprise customers.
• Engage with and grow the open‑source community around the SQL connector projects.
• Collaborate with the SQL server teams to deliver new features and improvements based on customer needs.
• Partner with product managers to shape the future of Databricks Partner Connect and expand the partner ecosystem.

Required profile

• BTech or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of production‑level experience in Java, Python, Go, or a similar language.
• Proven ability to architect, develop, deploy, and operate highly performant systems.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open‑source repositories.
• Demonstrated leadership of engineering projects across functional boundaries.
• Comfort with multi‑quarter roadmaps and delivering incremental value.
