Senior Software Engineer

About the role

CUBE is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for its AI‑powered RegTech SaaS platform. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, high‑performance cloud‑native applications that simplify regulatory compliance for financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI/Django).
• Build scalable, secure microservices and integrate with databases, cloud services, and third‑party APIs.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for performance.
• Implement authentication and authorization following industry‑standard security practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code and conduct code reviews.
• Containerize applications with Docker and support automated CI/CD deployments.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system scalability and observability.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience developing backend services in Python.
• Proven ability to design and deliver high‑performance, production‑ready APIs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive ownership mindset.
