Senior SDET Engineer – Automation & Quality Lead

About the role

Cohere Health is seeking a senior‑level SDET Engineer to elevate release quality, platform reliability, and change safety across its healthcare platform. You will partner with product, engineering, platform, and SRE teams to design and embed automation that reduces production risk while accelerating delivery velocity.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve end‑to‑end test automation strategy across UI, API, configuration changes, and critical workflows.
• Design and maintain scalable E2E frameworks (Playwright or Cypress) for multi‑tenant, payer‑specific workflows.
• Build automated validation for deployment guardrails, release readiness, and production change safety.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and collaborate with Platform/DevOps on deployment workflows.
• Drive test reliability, reduce flakiness, and provide actionable failure signals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation, SDET, or test engineering supporting production systems.
• Hands‑on experience building UI and API automation frameworks from scratch and managing repeatable test data sets.
• Proven ability to partner with platform and infrastructure teams on release pipelines and deployment safety.
• Experience working with cloud‑native systems on AWS and microservices/event‑driven architectures.

Required skills
