Senior SAP ABAP Engineer

About the role

Celonis is seeking a Senior ABAP Developer to design and implement modern data integration features for its platform. This full‑time position is based in Bengaluru, India, and requires writing maintainable, reliable code while collaborating in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of features from design through implementation.
• Extend SAP integration capabilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and release processes.
• Collaborate with cloud development teams to integrate SAP features with the cloud product.
• Research and drive new integration possibilities with SAP’s cloud offerings.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional ABAP development experience.
• High commitment, responsibility and enthusiasm for software development challenges.
• Experience with object‑oriented ABAP and GUI development.
• Experience with SAP R/3 and S/4HANA; knowledge of FI, MM and SD modules is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SAP products with a focus on integration options.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable and testable code.
• Excellent English communication skills.
