Senior Safety Consultant – Managed Services (Remote)

About the role

Veeva is seeking an experienced Safety Consultant to join its Managed Services team. You will support biopharmaceutical customers using the Vault Safety solution, helping them adopt best practices and drive value from the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new features and keep the Veeva Safety suite up to date.
• Collaborate with customer business and IT teams to gather and translate requirements.
• Design solutions that meet both explicit customer requests and anticipated needs.
• Serve as the liaison between implementation, maintenance, and internal product teams.
• Guide customers in adopting Vault and industry best practices post‑implementation.
• Drive change‑management for transitions from on‑premises to SaaS solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years in life‑sciences drug safety or pharmacovigilance, preferably in a consulting role.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high‑satisfaction outcomes.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25% of project time.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Attitude focused on customer success and rapid solution delivery.

Required skills

• Complex SQL query writing on safety data sets.
• Experience configuring and implementing safety systems such as Aris, Argus, Emperica, Commonwealth, RxLogix, or similar.
• Building aggregate and analytical reports on safety data.
