Senior Quality Engineer – Digital Distribution & Enterprise Engineering

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead testing strategy for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) based web platforms. You will own end‑to‑end quality across front‑end, back‑end, data and API layers, ensuring rapid, defect‑free delivery for a global investment firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the full test strategy for AEM web platforms, covering UI, API, performance, accessibility and regression.
• Build, maintain and scale automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Develop automated suites for AEM components, templates, workflows and integrations (DAM, Launch/Tags, external APIs).
• Validate front‑end experiences for responsiveness, cross‑browser compatibility, SEO, WCAG 2.2 AA compliance and Core Web Vitals.
• Test back‑end services including Sling models, OSGi services, servlets, content pipelines and search (Solr or AEM Cloud Search).
• Verify API contracts, REST/GraphQL endpoints, caching behavior and data integrity.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) with clear reporting.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE to assess performance, load, resilience and failover scenarios.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software testing experience, preferably in large‑scale web platforms.
• Strong understanding of quality engineering best practices and testability design.
• Proactive risk identification and root‑cause analysis skills.
