Senior QC Executive – QC In-charge / Laboratory Operations

About the role

The Senior QC Executive will lead laboratory operations, overseeing quality control testing for pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, herbal and nutraceutical products. This position ensures compliance with regulatory standards and drives continuous improvement in the QC lab.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise QC laboratory activities, allocate testing tasks and manage the testing schedule.
• Perform raw material, in‑process, IPQC, stability and finished‑product testing.
• Review Certificates of Analysis, specifications and analytical documentation.
• Lead OOS/OOT investigations, manage deviations and support CAPA implementation.
• Coordinate with third‑party laboratories for outsourced analyses.
• Maintain and operate QC instruments and laboratory equipment.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in QC within pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, herbal or nutraceutical manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or laboratory coordination experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ayurveda (preferred), Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related field; M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HPLC, ICP‑OES or other instrumental analysis techniques.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP and data‑integrity requirements.
• Experience in OOS/OOT investigations and CAPA support.
• Ability to review COA, specifications and analytical documentation.
• Experience coordinating third‑party laboratory services.
