Senior Network & Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network & Systems Administrator to join our Kochi office. You will be part of a fast‑growing engineering company that serves the automotive, rail, aerospace, defence, and industrial sectors, working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, VLANs, SSL & IPSec VPNs, and firewall policies.
• Manage Fortigate and Sophos firewalls, ensuring rule accuracy and VPN connectivity.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Proxmox.
• Oversee backup and recovery processes using Veeam Backup solutions.
• Maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian) and enterprise storage (Huawei, QNAP).
• Support Dell server hardware and network devices from HPE/Aruba, Huawei, and Unifi Access Points.
• Monitor infrastructure health with Zabbix and perform system upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and PowerShell, manage SSL certificates, and assist with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL database issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in network and systems administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
