Senior MEAN Stack Developer

About the role

VensureHRIndia is looking for a Senior MEAN Stack Developer to build, maintain and debug complex web applications. The role involves leading systems design, writing unit tests, preparing technical documentation and working closely with the QA team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and debug complex application code
• Write unit tests for assigned work
• Prepare technical documentation across multiple lifecycle phases
• Lead code reviews and adhere to software engineering standards
• Lead systems design, addressing security, performance, data integrity and scalability
• Review requirements and deliverables so the product is coherent and functional
• Work with the QA team to ensure the test strategy covers the whole project

Required profile

• 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript experience at an expert level
• Experience building and maintaining complex single-page web apps with AngularJS, React and Vue.js
• Experience with RESTful services and microservices, especially Node.js and Express
• Experience with Docker on Linux or macOS and with Agile, CI, TDD and Git
• Experience with NoSQL or multi-value (PICK) databases; cloud experience (AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code is a plus
• Bachelor's or advanced degree (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years in product design, architecture or support; legacy modernization experience is a big plus
• Good communication skills, willingness to mentor developers and to work as an individual contributor within a team
