Senior Manager – Projects & Engineering

About the role

The Senior Manager – Projects & Engineering will lead the planning, execution and engineering oversight of capital projects at the Intas Plasma Fractionation Centre. Reporting to the Engineering Head, this role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet all regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review project concept notes, define scope, milestones and detailed schedules.
• Develop realistic CAPEX estimates with focus on timelines, cost control and technology selection.
• Monitor project progress, update construction status and flag deviations.
• Review and approve layouts, utility, HVAC and electrical design data sheets, P&IDs and equipment lists.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors and cross‑functional teams, supervising vendor activities.
• Review and approve qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ), validation, SOPs and QMS documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date project documentation and approved layouts.
• Track CAPEX spend, manage cost risks and report overruns to the Project Head.
• Support internal and external GMP / non‑GMP audits to ensure site readiness.
• Define team responsibilities and assist the Engineering Head in resource planning.

Required profile

• 15–20 years of experience in project management and engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale capital projects on schedule and budget.
• Strong understanding of GMP, validation and quality management systems.
