Senior Manager – Internal Audit (Financial Services)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead internal audit services for financial services clients in Mumbai. You will help design, transform and deliver end‑to‑end internal audit functions, leveraging AI and risk‑technology solutions to enhance governance, risk management and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and transform internal audit functions for diverse clients.
• Manage co‑sourcing, outsourcing and managed‑service delivery models.
• Integrate AI‑enabled audit tools and other risk‑technology platforms into audit processes.
• Collaborate with cyber, forensics and compliance experts to address the full risk spectrum.
• Provide strategic advice to senior client stakeholders on risk and control matters.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in internal audit, risk management or assurance within the financial services sector.
• Proven ability to lead senior‑level audit engagements and manage client relationships.
• Strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance and internal control frameworks.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑enabled audit tools.
• Familiarity with risk‑technology platforms.
