Senior/ Lead Designer - XC-CP Mechanics

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking a Senior/Lead Designer to drive the development of XC-CP mechanical components. The role involves leading new product development initiatives and delivering robust, manufacturable designs for automotive and industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage design activities and capture requirements.
• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Manage parts, assemblies, and data within Teamcenter.
• Create base designs, variants, and concept evaluations.
• Develop 3D parts and detailed drawings based on customer inputs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.

Required profile

• B.Tech degree with 6‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Good communication, problem‑solving, and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of plastic, sheet‑metal, and die‑cast component design.
• Understanding of electronics product enclosures.
• Manufacturing and rapid‑prototyping knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in UG NX CAD.
• Experience with PDM link.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
