Senior Landscape Architect – Architecture

About the role

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join its Bangalore/Gurugram office. The role involves delivering landscape and public‑realm designs for private and public sector projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of landscape and public‑realm projects, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Manage design, tender and construction processes, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce detailed drawings, grading plans, sections, elevations, 3D models and reports.
• Apply design detailing and construction techniques to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, communicating design intent clearly.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognised university (preferred) or a Bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant experience.
• 6–10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, covering design, documentation and site implementation.
• International project exposure in the UK, Middle East or APAC regions is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Strong skills in SketchUp, Rhino and rendering tools such as Lumion, Enscape or Twinmotion.
• Experience with BIM software for landscape and infrastructure design.
• Competence in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
