Senior Full Stack Web Developer

About the role

Mastercard is hiring two Senior Web Developers (Full Stack) to design, build, and operate modern, secure, and scalable web applications. You will work hands‑on with product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑performance customer‑facing and internal platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end features using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python (Django/DRF) on the backend and React/Next.js with TypeScript on the frontend.
• Design and implement well‑structured, well‑tested backend services, including business logic, integrations, data access layers, and API endpoints.
• Build responsive, accessible UI components and pages, applying modern UI patterns, state management (e.g., Redux), and performance best practices.
• Design, version, and document RESTful APIs with strong contracts and backward compatibility.
• Write automated unit, integration, and UI tests and contribute to CI/CD quality gates.
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, and traces; participate in on‑call rotation.
