Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

OpenGov is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build AI‑driven SaaS solutions that improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability for government agencies. You will work in a fast‑paced, agile environment using modern technologies such as ReactJS, Typescript, GraphQL, and NodeJS.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate across the organization to translate business priorities into shipped features delivering customer success.
• Generate clean, efficient, and well‑documented software following industry best practices.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to ensure the development of resilient, scalable SaaS applications.
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience developing highly scalable cloud‑native applications with JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS.
• Deep experience building applications on Azure or AWS using modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and observability tools such as Grafana.
• Proficiency with event‑driven architecture, API integration, and GraphQL.
