Senior Enterprise Operations Engineer

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Enterprise Operations Engineer to join its Cloud Operations team in Pune. The role focuses on operating, scaling and continuously improving enterprise‑grade multi‑cloud platforms across AWS, Azure and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own production cloud platform stability, availability and performance, applying SRE practices such as SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Lead complex incident triage, root‑cause analysis and remediation for cloud and container workloads.
• Support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline).
• Perform advanced Kubernetes operations including cluster management, node scaling, networking and storage debugging.
• Enhance observability platforms (Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK) and implement AIOps‑driven alert correlation and automated remediation.
• Drive cloud security operations, DevSecOps automation and compliance using CSPM tools.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep and automation scripts in Python, Bash, PowerShell or Go.
