Senior Engineer II – Digital Distribution & Enterprise Engineering

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, API‑driven web applications that simplify complex financial data. The role works within a global team, collaborating across development centers in the US and India.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain web applications using Java SpringBoot, MuleSoft, React, Angular and SASS.
• Create and implement REST APIs adhering to industry standards.
• Partner with product design to build intuitive user interfaces for financial data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams worldwide to ensure consistent practices and share ideas.
• Conduct peer code reviews focusing on performance, security and flexibility.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, demos and scrum of scrums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of front‑end experience with React and Angular.
• 6+ years of back‑end experience with Java SpringBoot, Node.js and ExpressJS.
• 4+ years of experience with MuleSoft.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
