Senior Cyber Triage & Forensic Analyst

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to join its Cyber Defense team, focusing on cyber triage and forensic investigations. The role supports EY’s global information security mission by detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Detect and respond to information security incidents, performing triage and detailed investigations.
• Develop, maintain, and follow procedures for security event alerting.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and provide expert security assessments.
• Utilise EDR, SIEM and related tools to analyse and counteract cyber threats.
• Communicate with IT stakeholders during incident response to ensure effective containment and remediation.
• Report on incident metrics, analyse findings and produce comprehensive resolution reports.
• Act as an escalation point, shift lead and mentor for junior team members.
• Analyse security events, give feedback on controls and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in cyber defence, incident response and threat hunting.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a global security team.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction and reporting.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and leading shift activities.
