Senior Consulting Manager – AVEVA Operations Control

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Consulting Manager to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise‑scale Industrial Automation and Digital Transformation solutions using the AVEVA Operations Control portfolio. The role combines technical leadership with people management, guiding solution architects, technical leads and engineers across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Define scalable, secure, resilient and high‑availability solution architectures that align with customer business objectives and OT/IT standards.
• Produce and maintain Solution Design Documents, Functional and Detailed Design specifications, test procedures and deployment documentation.
• Architect the full AVEVA Operations Control ecosystem, including System Platform, OMI, Historian, Identity Manager, Communication Drivers, License Manager, SQL Server and IIS.
• Lead infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, performance optimisation and cloud‑hybrid deployment strategies.
• Establish architecture standards, reusable patterns and technical governance across projects.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring high‑performing technical teams.
• Proven ability to run customer workshops, architecture reviews and executive presentations.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements, workshops and commissioning support.

Required skills

• Extensive expertise in AVEVA Operations Control portfolio (System Platform, OMI, Historian, Identity Manager, Communication Drivers, License Manager).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, HTTPS/TLS, RBAC.
• Experience with OT/IT convergence, integration with SAP, IBM Maximo, RESTful APIs, OPC DA/UA, MQTT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services (VMs, networking, storage, identity management) and hybrid cloud architectures.
