Senior Auditor – Commercial & Investment Banking

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Securities Services audit team in Mumbai. The role focuses on risk‑based audit coverage of global securities services activities, including custody, fund accounting, trade processing, settlement, liquidity, trading services, and transfer agency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end audit engagements: risk assessments, planning, testing, control evaluation, issue drafting and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with global audit colleagues to identify emerging control issues and report them promptly.
• Develop recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain independence while building strong relationships with business stakeholders and other control functions.
• Stay current on industry, regulatory changes and market events impacting the business.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of internal or external audit experience, or equivalent business experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant financial‑services experience.
• Proven ability to evaluate internal controls against identified risks.
• Experience applying internal audit methodology in audit delivery and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
