Senior Associate Markets NFR Regional Support

About the role

The Senior Associate Markets NFR Regional Support works within ANZ's Institutional Markets division to manage non‑financial risk (NFR) across the global Markets business. The role strengthens governance, reporting and risk structures, providing data‑driven insights that support informed decision‑making and a strong risk culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support the wider Markets NFR team in managing non‑financial risk governance and oversight in line with enterprise risk standards and regulatory obligations.
• Design and implement divisional governance artefacts such as attestations, aggregated risk profiles, risk reviews and issue tracking.
• Oversee governance and oversight of thematic reviews and internal audits conducted by second and third lines of defence.
• Provide actionable, data‑driven insights across end‑to‑end customer journeys to inform decision‑making and governance.
• Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of risk‑related issues.

Required profile

• Experience in non‑financial risk management within a markets or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management standards and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and act as a trusted strategic partner.
• Proactive approach to governance, reporting and risk oversight.
