Senior Associate – Markets NFR (Australia FX)

About the role

This is a specialised Non‑Financial Risk (NFR) position focused on the foreign‑exchange (FX) business. You will act as the subject‑matter expert, supporting the global FX operation with deep risk insight, governance, and control expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and credible challenge on NFR matters affecting FX products, activities and controls.
• Support the FX business in risk identification, control uplift, governance enhancements and emerging‑issue responses.
• Contribute specialist input to complex investigations, thematic reviews, assurance activities and risk events, including root‑cause analysis and remediation planning.
• Drive the management of NFR governance and oversight across the FX portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong background in non‑financial risk, preferably within FX or broader markets.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify emerging risks and influence risk‑aware decision‑making.
• Experience working with global business stakeholders and risk governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
