Senior Associate – Markets NFR (Asia FX)

About the role

This is a specialised non‑financial risk position focused on the foreign‑exchange (FX) business within ANZ's Institutional Markets division. The role provides deep subject‑matter expertise, supports risk governance, and helps align the FX business with enterprise risk standards and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior subject‑matter expert for non‑financial risk matters impacting the FX business, delivering expert advice and credible challenge across products, activities, controls and governance outcomes.
• Support the global FX business on risk identification, control uplift, governance enhancements and emerging issues.
• Provide specialist input into complex investigations, thematic reviews, assurance activities and risk events, including root‑cause analysis, issue assessment and remediation planning.
• Drive the management of non‑financial risk governance and oversight in line with enterprise risk management standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in non‑financial risk or risk management within a financial services environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to provide data‑driven insights.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor on complex and emerging risk issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with global business stakeholders and risk teams.
